My Problem in the Morning
The morning alarm sometimes can be so unpleasant and loud. All you want to do is turning it off and going back to sleep. So you snooze the alarm again and again… After half an hour, finally you get up.
Goal of Design
The goal of this project is not only just to make a coffee alarm machine but also to make our morning experience more enjoyable thus we can be more productive.
My Inspiration
It is a beautiful and innovative machine. But it is a bit too expensive. Is there a way I can make one by myself with lower cost?

Design Process
1. Competitors Research
I explore similar products and analyze their audiences, strategy, UI and differentiators.
2. User research and validating ideas
I first conducted the user interviews with 6 of my friends. By asking what their frustrations are in the morning and what their ideal mornings are, I validated my idea. In the meanwhile, I created two personas to help me understand what the problem I am solving through design.
